**NEW DATE** This training will now be held on Thursday 20th June, 27th June and 4th July from 6.15pm - 8.35pm Suitable for anyone undertaking the DSL role in early years. Online Via TEAMS - You need to attend all sessions The training is available to all Early Years and Childcare settings, Childminders, Children’s Centres and Out of School Clubs to meet the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory welfare requirements. Training available is accessible to practitioners from Ofsted registered provision and school governor run provision. Newly appointed Designated Safeguarding Lead 1 day ( this course replaces the 2 day DSL course) This course is for newly appointed Designated Safeguarding Leads in early years and childcare settings including childminders. The course focuses on the roles and responsibilities of the Lead DSL and those of any deputy DSLs. Before attending this training participants should have completed basic child protection or safeguarding awareness raising training.

Cancellation Policy

Charging Policy In the event of a cancellation, 2 weeks’ notice is required to receive a refund. If you would like to transfer to another date at least 1 weeks’ notice must be given, this is to allow us to resell your place. We understand that there may be cases where less than a weeks notice can be given but please do get in touch if this is the case. Any non-attendance for any course with no notice given, will not be refunded, or transferred. In the event we need to cancel a course due to low numbers we will offer alternative dates. Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as disruptive weather, pandemic or where training is deemed a risk to the delegate, we may have cause to cancel a training course, in these circumstances you will be contacted, and booking transferred to the next available date.
