“chatter matters training provides practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to run high quality chatter matters groups for families. ‘chatter matters’ is sessions for babies, young children and their parents based around singing, storytelling and play. ‘chatter matters’ aims to give information, opportunities and support in an informal way about speech language and communication development. The Chatter Matters programme has been developed by speech and language therapists working as part of the ‘time to talk’ team in Warwickshire. It is based on the principles of effective early intervention with specific focus on strategies which support the development of speech, language and communication development from birth. Practitioners attending this course ideally have completed ‘time to talk’ Tier 1 training. The Training session will be in person at Claremont Children and Family Centre Claremont Road Rugby CV21 3LU
