Dawn Jearum

For the last 11 years Dawn has been working as an Early Years Adviser, with Warwickshire’s Early Years Advisory Team.

 

Originally from Lancashire and studying a BA Honours Degree at Bretton Hall, Leeds University, Dawn soon discovered her passion for Early Years.


Dawn has over 28 years’ experience working within the early year’s sector including work with various multi-disciplinary teams / services.

 

Within her career she has had numerous roles. These have included managing and developing a wide range of Private Day Nurseries, Project Managing many new builds, and working as an ‘Operations Director’ for a large Nursery Chain.


During her role of Children Centre manager, she acquired her NPQICL qualification and then further developed her skills and experiences working as an Integrated Service Manager with Coventry City Council.


Dawn has been trained as an Associate Trainer by Pen Green Research Centre and has spent many years working on various DfE funded projects focusing on developing various strategies to Narrow the Gap in early years for vulnerable children. This has allowed her to work alongside many Early Years Nursery Schools and Teaching Centres across the country gaining extensive transferrable knowledge.
