Monday 20th May 2024 - 9am-1pm Online via Teams The training is available to all Early Years and Childcare settings, Childminders, Children’s Centres and Out of School Clubs to meet the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory welfare requirements. Training available is accessible to practitioners from Ofsted registered provision and school governor run provision. This course is for all DSLs who have previously completed the 2 day course or the Newly appointed DSL training. It is recommended that DSLs attend an update every two years. The update will cover local and national developments in safeguarding along with current issues and learning from recent case studies. It aims to support DSLs to continue developing their knowledge and expertise You can repeat the Refresher every two years once you have taken the full course unless you have previously trained outside of Warwickshire. If you feel you need to repeat the full course instead this is also an option.
